Special buttons giveaway!

Here in Paris one of my favourite hobbies is to spend my spare time "mining" little treasures in haberdasheries disseminated in this town. Indeed, there's such as magnificent shops of this kind where to spent whole afternoons discovering amazing little stuffs! These magical places are simply extraordinary... sometimes, I feel like an archaeologist in a scavenger hunt: while I'm pushing my way through colourful ribbons and vintage fabrics, it is always a surprise and a great pleasure to discover coffers completely fulfilled with precious buttons...

And this love that I feel for buttons and haberdasheries inspired me to carve special hand carved rubber stamps the shape of buttons: they are for sale on my etsy, in 4 different sets... check them out, I hope you like'em all!
Last but not least, in this post I propose also a special giveaway of a set of 8 authentic "buttons in buttons" in fabric, made with my buttons stamps (pic below there): for winning this set, you have to write a comment, explaining where do you like to spent your spare time before Sunday the 6th November. To each comment I will assign a progressive number... then, randomiser will chose the fortunate number!!

NOTE: this is the set to win! write a comment on this post to participate to the giveaway!!

Your buttons look fantastic! Absolutely adorable. I'm going to look for new buttons to smarten up my winter coat so I think I need to find some nice haberdasheries in London. Where do I like to spend my spare time? At home usually, spending time with my boyfriend, knitting and reading.

Ohh how adorable are these stamped buttons! My favorite place to spend time on a nice sunny day is outdoors! I love walking around with my camera, or riding my bicycle out to a new part of town. If the weather isn't looking too good, I also enjoy staying home, listening to music, and cooking for people I love.

You are just purely an inspiration! :D

I love book stores and art shops. I think most of my time outside of the house were spent there, other than creative markets and art exhibitions. I love colors and variety of stuffs that were self-made. Even though I make one myself, I can't really stop myself from buying items from other people too :D

In what spare time I have (I'm a mom to a 2.5 yr old and a newborn any day now), I love to sew and knit. I was just lamenting the difficulty of finding the "perfect" buttons for the things I knit. One spends so much time crafting a garment, it seems an awful shame to put "just any old button" on it. I practically drooled at your haberdashery photo. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Beautiful buttons - a wonderfully whimsical idea. Your story reminded me of a trip to Paris. There was a bead shop on the same block as our rented apartment in the Marais. I thought I'd pop in for a few minutes to have a look around, much to my husband and son's chagrin. I was totally absorbed and could barely pull myself away. Naturally, I had to bring home some souvenirs, but it was a very tough decision which ones.
